Health And Safety At NW Labour Conference

Pic: Zombie MayWith Jeremy Corbyn and major Labour MPs in attendance and speaking, a whole range of issues pertitnent to health and safety at work and in the community, were discussed and debated at this year' North West Labour Conference held once again in Blackpool.

The CWU was well represented and included CWU Youth observers, some of whom had never attended a Labour conference before.

Both Brexit and the continued privatisation of the NHS were issues debated and discussed at the conference as you might expect.

Here you can download NW BTU Health & Safety Co-ord Chairperson, Derek Maylor's report of the event.
